Fan Art: 'How to Train Your Dragon' Blacksmith Shop WIP

During a training period at work I started to learn a bit of Zbrush and a chance to practice my texturing as I haven't done any for a while. The concept is from the 'How to Train Your Dragon' art book which I've losely based my model on. This is currently work in progress and some area's are unfinished but wanted to see what the final image might feel like once it's complete.

Pumpkin Squash

Happy Halloween

Pumpkin Squash from Ben Moseley on Vimeo.

This short was created as a one week lunch-crunch challenge, by myself, for myself for no reason other than FUN.
I failed by one day. However, it took me around 10 hours so I'm still happy with it as a speedy spare time project.

I modelled, textured, created shaders, lighting and rendered it all in Maya and Mental Ray.

The style of the pumpkins was based on a 2d concept by the very talented artist Jotaká
